ABOUT OF LORD MURUGAN - ARUPADAI VEEDU TEMPLE
Murugan was a Hindu god, mostly in the southern part of India. He is widely worshiped among the Tamil people and is called 'Tamil Kaduwal' or 'God of Tamil Nadu'. He is the youngest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Valli and Deivanai are his divine relationships. He is known for other names like Karthikeya, Skanda, Kumara and Subramanya.
The six temples dedicated to Lord Muruga are located in the south of Tamil Nadu and there are mainly arupadai street temples.

Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple
Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple 6 Padai Veedu is the principal of second Murukan Temple. It is located in the suburbs of Madurai city. Murugan's divine marriage and goddess Deivanai marry this temple is considered to be very sacred.
Tiruchendur Murugan Temple
Tiruchendur Murugan Temple is the second in Arupadai veedu .located on the sea shore of Thoothukudi (Thoothukudi) in Tamil Nadu.
Palaani Murugan Temple
Palaani Murugan Temple Arupadai Veedu Murugan Temple is in the third place. It is located in Palani town in Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. Murugan's goddess is made up of Navapashanam (nine mineral) and is referred to as Dandayutapani.
Swamimalai Murugan Temple
Swamimalai Murugan Temple is in fourth place in the Perumal Perumal Murugan temple. It is located on the coastal bank of Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. Here Murugan Purana Pranava Mantra is also known as 'Om' to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva accepted Murugan as his Guru, so hence the name Swamimalai.
Thiruthani Murugan Temple
This is fifth Murugan temple. It is located in Thiruthani Hill in Tamil Nadu. Pilgrims should take 365 steps and go to the temple for 365 days. It is located on the hill of Thiruthani in Tamil Nadu. Pilgrims should take 365 steps and go to the temple, which is 365 days.
Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple
Pazhamudhircholai Murugan Temple is the sixth among the Arupadai Veedu Lord Muruga Temple. It is located in Madurai city of Tamilnadu. It is also known as the Soolamalai Murugan Temple, located at the top of Virasabhari or Idabagiri. It is surrounded by thick forests.
